Scale With 5.9 earthquake rocked the East Coast of the United States

Scale with 5.9 earthquake rocked the East Coast of the United States, from Virginia to Boston on Tuesday (08/23/2011), as reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake centered in Mineral, Virginia, located 148 miles from Washington DC. Its depth reaches 3.7 miles or about 6 km.

Until this news was revealed there has been no reports of casualties or damage. However, the Pentagon and the Capitol building immediately evacuated, as well as buildings in the City of New York. Meanwhile, people were seen running into the street to save themselves.
