Immigration detention center in Darwin, Australia, on fire

Immigration detention center in Darwin, Australia, on fire on Wednesday (08/31/2011). The fire allegedly deliberately lit prisoners from Indonesia to protest because they can not follow the Id prayers at the mosque.

Firefighters managed to extinguish the two fires. From outside the compound on fire resistance was seen to soar. The house was inhabited by 466 people prisoner.

Officials evacuated the house arrest of a number of locations at the facility. Meanwhile, fire fighting effort is not going smoothly because the prisoners were reportedly throwing stones at officers.
