Carita Beach Nature Park




Carita Beach Nature Park is located in the area of ​​Banten which is a lowland forest located adjacent to the Regional Tourism Destination Carita Beach. This region has a wealth of natural resources potential. Biodiversity of flora and fauna and the panoramic beauty of nature is an important attraction for tourism development in the district Pandeglang.

Some tree species found here include the Teak (Tectona grandis), Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), African Mahogany (S. khaya antoteca) and Bungur (Lagerstromia speciosa). In addition there are also garden experiment forest research centers that are developing shoots cuttings meranti (Shorea reprosula) and Shorea selanica.

Fauna found in the Natural Park is Tando Carita Beach (Petaurista elegans), wild boar (Sus vitatus), long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis), Javan (Tachypitechus auratus), monitor lizard (Varanus salvator) and the python (Python sp.)

There is also in part bird species, including the kestrel (Falco moluccensis), eagle (Spilornis cheela) and types of other smaller birds. Often encountered bats.
